Mini-Filter Core Replacement for WFA for Oilless Oilfree Vacuum Pumps Filter Assembly
Why this is needed:
Vacuum pumps take away air from a vacuum system and has air passing through the pump. There might be some dirt in the intake air, which may deposit inside the pump mechanical parts. Dirty parts will reduce the efficiancy or causing damage to the pump. Adding a filter in the intake port will filter the dirt and keep it away from entering the pump. This may extend the life of the pump.
How it is replaced:The filter assembly comes together with a threaded cover, turn the cover counter-clock-wise to disassemble it. The filter core can be removed by removing a bolt which holds the other parts together with the filter core, Clean the inside of the assembly with damp towel or a air blower, and replace the core with the new filter. Make sure the rubber seals are aligned correctly when tightening the bolt and the cover.
